D'Andre Lampkin has received the endorsement of Pastor Jim Willoughby, a retired Ontario City Planning Commissioner and longtime community leader who served alongside Lampkin on the Planning Commission.
I'm honored to receive the endorsement of Pastor Jim Willoughby, a retired Ontario City Planning Commissioner and longtime community leader.
Jim's endorsement means a great deal to me because his opinion was not formed from campaign promises. He has had the opportunity to see my work firsthand.
We served together on the Ontario Planning Commission, where he saw how I approach difficult decisions, land use, public safety, growth, and the responsibility that comes with helping shape Ontario's future.
In announcing his endorsement, Pastor Willoughby shared:
"D'Andre is an outstanding leader whose heart and soul are grounded in Ontario. He is phenomenal in times of crisis as well as in the smooth good times. He brings excellent security, management, and leadership skills that will benefit every citizen of Ontario."
What makes those words especially meaningful is that Jim saw the work before there was a campaign.
He saw how I approached my responsibilities as a Planning Commissioner.
He saw how I handled difficult issues.
He saw how seriously I took the responsibility of serving Ontario.
And he saw the same commitment to this city that continues to guide me today.
That is why this endorsement is about more than support for a candidate. It reflects the judgment of someone who has served this community, understands the responsibilities of local government, and had the opportunity to observe my leadership up close.
